Wedding Table Centerpiece Ideas

The wedding table centerpiece may not make a different in your marriage, but it is very important for the overall look and flow of your reception.  If you don’t believe this then think, what will your guest be doing?  The answer is probably sitting at a table for at least half the reception.  This means that all of your guests will be looking at a centerpiece for at least an hour or two, so you want them to be pleasing and enjoyable to look at.

So what type of wedding table centerpiece should you choose?  The most common choice is probably flowers.  You can make a bouquet for each table and I’m sure the guest will enjoy looking at the beauty of nature.  However, you could change things up a bit to add variety to the evening.  Instead of one large bouquet you could do a small one and then circle it with small vases with a single flower.  Or have candles around it.

Or if you want flowers but maybe you don’t have a large budget for them, you could place 2 rose in a small thin vase, to represent you and your spouse, then decorate around the vase with things like, twigs, leaves, or candles.

Or maybe just ditch the flowers and go with a plant.  It has become more and more popular to use ferns, trees, bushes of ivy, herbs, and other green plants as your wedding table centerpiece.

If you don’t want plants or anything from nature then your next option would be candles.  There are a ton of things you can do with candles.  Like a glass bowl of floating candles and petals or candles on top of a mirror for a really elegant effect.

Flowers and candles are both very great ideas but don’t feel that is your only option for a wedding table centerpiece, because it’s not.  You could use fruits, place appetizers or desserts or even do pictures as your centerpiece.  Really the only limit on what you can do is your own imagination.
