Centerpieces For Weddings: Do It Yourself

Looking to do your own centerpieces?  For weddings, centerpieces are incredibly important and you don’t want them looking like a 5th grade art project, but that’s where I can help with these crafty do it yourself centerpieces that are easy to make.

The first one is very simple and can be done put together in an evening.  Go out and purchase 5 candle pillars for each table, one of the 5 needs to be about 2-3 inches taller then the others.  Purchase ribbon,, you’ll need about 7-8 ft per table.  Then purchase a lot of pearl beads, you can skip these if you are short on time, because this step is quiet time consuming.

When you are ready to assemble it, then you will use super glue and glue a ring of pearl beads around the bottom of each candle, this will normally take 15-20 minutes per candle so if you want to do this try enlisting help.  Then clip off 16-18” of ribbon and tie it around the candle about half way down.  You can either tie it in a fancy bow or a knot and curl the ribbon.  Then to place on the table put the large one in the middle and make a square out of the other four.

Do you like this centerpieces for weddings but want something a little different?  Then I can help.  Some other things you can do include, glittering the candle.  Candles with glitter on it are expensive, but you can easily make them yourself.  Just buy a glue stick and some glitter.  Then run the glue stick down the candle going about an inch wide then dip it in glitter, continue until the candle is covered.  Try different colors of glitter for more variety.  You could also decorate the candles with rose petals or feathers, just be careful if you plan to light them.  You want the petals and feathers low enough not to get burned.

I hope these centerpieces for weddings have given you some ideas on what you want for your wedding, if not keep looking around the site; I have a lot of different things you can try here.
