Centerpieces for Wedding: Animal Design

Tyler&Anna 352If you are looking for centerpieces for wedding that are unique and creative then why not include animals? Here I will take a moment to show you a very creative why to incorporate animals into your wedding centerpieces.

If you want to get crafty then you can purchase stuffed animals and dress them up for you centerpieces. You can choose from an array of outfits but a really cute one would be a bride and groom for each table. Or you could choose to do something else like evening gowns or if you have a western theme you could do cowboy hats and plaid shirts.

If you don’t like the stuffed animal bit then try centerpieces for wedding that use little animal figurines. You could purchase little tigers, monkeys, and other jungle type animals and then arrange them around strand of ivy. Or do water animals around blue colored tinsel.

I have also seen candle holders with animal cutouts as centerpieces. If you are having an evening wedding then this would look beautiful. You would have little shadows of animals on the table if you angle them right.

You could also do pictures of animals. Purchase a frame tree and fill each frame with a picture of a different animal. Or just have 3-4 frames on each table with an animal picture.

You could also use live animals. Perhaps have a small snake or lizard at each table, if you’re brave enough. Or what is becoming increasing popular in centerpieces for wedding is fish, we actually did this along with two other things at my wedding. But you could just have a simple fish bowl or one with flowers. If you want to get creative then you can do what we did.

We had a bowl with 3-4 fish and then purchased a thin sheet of plastic that we cut to fit over each bowl and topped it with fake snow. Then my father-in-law built little mini log cabins that we sprayed fake snow on and placed that on top of the plastic along with a little lego man holding a fishing pole. Then we cut a small hole in the plastic and had the “fishing line” go through the hole to give the appearance of ice fishing.
