If you are planning an evening wedding then chances are you want a centerpiece wedding idea that will bring a classy, elegant flow to your reception.
I love a classy wedding and the centerpieces that you can make for these upscale classy events are limitless. Flowers are always the first choice and with good reason. Flowers are stunning and all you need is a vase with a terrific arrangement and your centerpiece is complete, but lets discuss other ideas that maybe aren’t so common.
Fruits are starting to become really popular in a centerpiece for weddings. Fruits add color, shapes, and nice lines and shapes in the centerpiece. Fruits that are commonly found at weddings are oranges, pears, lemons, grapes, and apples. My personal favorite to use is lemons, I love the bright yellow that they bring to the room.
If you are looking for a classy look but are on a tight budget then go outside. You can pick some leaves and twigs and create some really elegant centerpieces that will be perfect for your wedding. You could use the twigs and leaves and arrange them nicely in a few vases or a large bowl. Or you can just glue them together and place them on doilies in the center of the table.
Another great centerpiece wedding idea is to use shadow boxes. You can purchase 3-4 boxes to sit on each table and then fill each box with something different that goes well with the theme. For instance on one table you could have one with 1+ flowers, one with sparkly cotton balls, one with a candle and one with leaves. Or you could fill two with flower petals and two with decorative rocks. Whatever you choose to fill them with just make sure they go with the theme.
